Nintendo Wii U DNS Configuration
Before starting, please take note of your current DNS server IP’s for future reference in the event you wish to revert back to the default settings. Follow these simple guidelines in order to get your Wii U setup with DNSFlex in no time!
Step 1
From the Wii U Menu, select “System Settings.”
Step 2
Using the Left Stick, select the “Internet” icon and press the A Button.
Step 3
Tap “Connect to the Internet.”
Step 4
Press the X Button or tap “Connections” in the top-right corner.
Step 5
Select the connection you wish to configure.
Step 6
Tap “Change Settings.“
Step 7
Tap the arrow on the right and select “DNS.”
Step 8
Tap “Don’t Auto-Obtain” and enter in the DNS info as follows:

In this section enter the two closest DNS Server IP Addresses for “Primary DNS” and “Secondary DNS” respectively. The DNS locator map can be found in the DNSFlex Dashboard page: (https://dnsflex.com/billing)
Step 10
Tap “Confirm” to return to the manual settings screen.
Step 11
To save these settings, select “Save” or press the B Button, and then select “Save.”
Step 12
After saving, you can perform a connection test by selecting “Connection Test” on the following prompt or select “Quit” to skip this.
Note: Whenever making any manual changes to your network connectivity it is always best practise to reboot your device in order for the changes to propagate. Please proceed to reboot your PS4 following this tutorial. Congratulations, you are now fully setup to use DNSFlex services!
